Issue Opening PDFs

Symptom 1:  You are using Internet Explorer 9 and you get a blank screen when trying to open a PDF.

Solution A:  If you have Adobe Reader 9, there is not currently a fix.  Please request Adobe XI to be installed.  Your walk-around is to use Google Chrome.

Solution B:  If you have Adobe XI installed, you need to run the program first to accept the terms.  (Look for the program by pressing the WIndows/Start button.)


Symptom 2:  A PDF file on your desktop, My Docs, or other folder will not open in Adobe Reader.

Solution:  If a box opens to select a default program, select Adobe Reader.  (You may have to expand to "other programs".)  There is also a checkbox to select always open with this program.  Check this box.
